Engage OT specialise in catering for NDIS/NDIA plan and self-managed participants. We are a registered NDIS provider and therefore can provide a range of services for adolescents and adults with a disability who have an NDIS Plan.

Training
Engage OT offers training for health professionals and staff working within health and other industries. We provide all workplace training in accordance with WorkSafe guidelines and recommendations. Engage OT staff are Backsafe accredited Manual Handling trainers.

Fees
Sessions are completed at the length required, depending on the needs of the client, and their funding stream, and are therefore charged at an hourly rate (except for Manual Handling, which is charged per session). These rates are different depending on the funding stream and the complexity of services provided.
NDIS rate: capped by the NDIS at $193.99/hr (this is set out in the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits)
TAC clients: $164.86-181.34/hr plus Travel Costs (OT – Tier TWO) as per TAC Payment Arrangements
Manual Handling Training for providers and businesses: $2000 per training session plus travel costs for up to 15 participants/employees
Private clients: $220/hr
NDIS
As a registered NDIS Provider, all your NDIS needs can be provided, from assessments and reports for access requests to individual therapy programs for adolescents and adults with a disability who have an NDIS Plan. Functional assessments can be catered for following acceptance onto the NDIS scheme which can assist with initial plan development.

Backsafe
We are accredited to provide individualised manual handling training for workplaces by Backsafe. Worksafe and the Work Health Safety Regulations stress the importance of safety regarding manual tasks that could lead to musculoskeletal disorder. Musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) is defined as an injury to, or a disease of, the musculoskeletal system. This may include conditions such as: sprains and strains of muscles, ligaments and tendons, back injuries, nerve injuries, and chronic pain.
