Engagement & Inclusion
Empowering individuals with the opportunities to have access to meaningful occupations, to be as independent as possible and be able to participate within their community. Being family centred, Engage OT takes a holistic approach to all therapy provided, involving clients and carers, as well as their family. Throughout the assessment and therapy process we ensure individuality, culture, and beliefs are met. This allows for effective communication and decision making so that everyone can contribute wherever possible ensuring empowerment and quality of life for all.
Professionalism
Occupational Therapy Australia code of ethics guides how and what services we provide to all of our clients. The Occupational Therapy profession requires all members to ensure that their duties and responsibilities are always adhered to.
All clients can always expect the following from staff at Engage OT:
- Confidentiality & Privacy
- Respect & Dignity
- Professional Integrity
- Professional Standards & Expertise
Empathy
It is imperative to be responsive to and identify what another person is experiencing to gain the best outcome. Staff at Engage OT endeavour to be empathetic and compassionate throughout the therapy process. It is important to us that the therapeutic relationship and rapport is gained right from the onset which allows for maximum benefit from any time spent completing assessments and therapy programs.
